Najla Qamber is a graphics designer who loves books. So much that she became a book designer. And since 2012, she's been creating jaw-dropping artworks for the book community.

 

In 2015, her sister Nada, also a huge bookworm and designer extraordinaire, joined her.

 

Together they established Qamber Designs & Media (also known as QDM) in the Kingdom of Bahrain in 2017.

 

QDM designs stunning book covers, interiors and logos for authors.

 

As the Qamber Sisters continued on this journey, they found it a challenge to find resources.

Like photos of models for Fantasy and Historical Romance. 3D renders of horror elements like bloody knives and broken glass. And gay couples for the Romance genre. These elements and resources were so hard to find!

 

So they decided to create their own.

They started with ready-made book covers and author logos. This made it easy for writers to look through options of different designs to fit what they needed. It was also the perfect solution for those who didn't have a lot of time and the budget to get a custom design made.

 

Their clients loved it. As demand grew, the Qambers added more resources. A variety of book covers from Romance to Historical to Fantasy. Stock textures and illustrations. Even stationery such as planners and printables. Because hey, authors need to be super organized!

 

And so, Qamber Emporium was born. A one-stop-shop filled with resources for every author, publisher and book designer. And anyone who loves spectacular art.
